My Hong Kong Diaries: The Happiest Place on Earth

Breakfast before making our way down to the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland.
Like most restaurants in Hong Kong, food is pretty decent (ie. quite good), so I did enjoy my breakfast. Nothing better than to start the day with a hearty breakfast, right?

It's ADORABLE. Even the MTR line to Disneyland Resort incorporates Disney elements (and is more comfy than the usual MTRs)

HK Disneyland's newer attraction (since last year?), Toy Story Land!

Being someone who grew up with Toy Story, I loved how the design and layout incorporated so many aspects of the show. Some of the rides here do make HK Disneyland a bit more attractive to the youth  (with their slightly more thrilling rides), so I do think it's been a good decision that Disney decided to build this new attraction!

I forgot its name, but you HAVE TO take the ride here!

 BALLOONS!

Lunch! We were so hungry, everything tasted awesome. LOL.

The Sleeping Beauty Castle

I swear, after visiting Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, This castle cannot compare to the grandioseness of the Cinderella Castle. Not complaining though. Disney Parks are my favourite places on Earth.

I was in a dilemma while drafting the post. I had so many photos of Disneyland that I realised it would simply be INSANE if I included them all in one post. So, while this post features most of my time in Hong Kong Disneyland, my next post will feature the Flights of Fantasy parade.

Anyway, for some bizarre reason, the queues were really short (by Disney Parks standards), and we managed to take almost all the rides AND catch a couple of shows.

Tip for Disney Park goers: Always try to find live performances in the Disney Park. We caught two live performances (with live singing), and were blown away by some of the talents of the performers!
(Fine, I was ogling the guy who played Tarzan too)

I love Disney. It always reminds me of my childhood, and that dreams are wishes our heart makes.

and sometimes, all you need is Faith, Trust and a little bit of Pixie Dust.
